I have a scientific atlanta explorer 8300 hd and i want to buy an external hard drive to have more space for my recordings.. I was thinking about a 200gb. Will this work?

I just bought new speakers for my pc, but i also want to have the manufacturer speakers connected, ho wcan i do that? I have tried on my motherboards outputs but only the center one emmits sound, why? Can the other outputs used for my other speakers?

My DVD rom will read about 95% of the dvd's that I insert into it, but there are some that it wont recognize as even being in the drive, like Casino Royale and Stranger than Fiction....I've noticed too that it tends to be newer dvds that it mainly has this problem on....the dvd rom drive is only like 3-4 months old and I bought it new.....anyone have a similar type problem and know how to fix it?

this card work fine but everytime i shut the computer down and restart i have to go through the setup in vista media center again. i comes back after boot up and say there is no tv tuner card. once i go through the setting process it's fine.

I've installed a second Hard drive into my computer, plugged in the power cabe and the data cable. Powered up my PC and looked on My Computer, but it dosen't show up. Gone into Device Manager and its there, and supposedly working fine. Whats wrong?? Why isn't there an icon in My Computer??

I was running my computer on Windows XP, but when it started to freeze and jam, I downgraded it to Windows 98. Now, I can't use my external hard drive because the system doesn't recognize it. Why? Do I need to download a driver? It is a Western Digital 250 gigabyte harddrive. The model number is WD25001032. Please help. If you can give me a direct link, that would be great. Thanks

i have just repaired a p.c with a foxconn mobo using a s.i.s chipset
for some reason both of the ps2 ports wont work so i had to install windows xp sp2 using both a usb mouse and keyboard
upon first inspection inside the p.c case the dust inside there was unbeleivable,it must of been at least a millimetre thick,so i used a usb vacumn to clean it out
is there any way to get the ps2 connectors working again,upon installation of windows i tried the ps2 mouse again but it still didnt work,so i shall try using compressed air in the socket and see how that goes
is there any settings in bios that will get the ps2 connector working,?

NVidia GeForce MX440 (128mb) graphics card. I can plug my XBOX into it. I was wondering if there is anyway to play my XBOX on my PC monitor as it will save space on my desk. i seen tuturials on youtube and i seen them draw in photoshop and their drawings comes good. i tried to do that but i cant do it with the mouse. is their a add on where i can connect some pencil and use it to draw in photoshop? it'll be really great.

i have downloaded the i data for the cd rom drive how do i install it so that the computer can identify it.

I have replaced the old drive with this new one so cause the old one didnt read disc no more. i already downloaded the data for it so what do i do with the data so the cdrom drive will work.
