My system is making a strange clicking noise – the noise starts as soon as I switch on the system and is quite constant. What could be the problem?

I have just bought a pci card and upgraded my USB to 2.0. I put in the driver cd and got this warning!!!
"The VIA pci to USB enhanced host controller has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatability with windows xp.. This driver has not been digitally signed."
Can anyone recomend a usb 2.0 that works with windows?

Thanks...

v 270 came with a cd driver(setpoint2.44b). since this driver is old, I downloaded a latest driver from logitech homepage (setpoint 3.30165). this should be able to connect v270 and 9410. but this connection wizard(please wait....)keeps on blinking forever....never installing v270(bluetooth mouse). I just cannot figure out why. everything seems alright to me.

I'm trying to find external speakers (preferable travel-size) for my MacBook. The first set I bought had a USB hook up and wouldn't work. They showed up in the "sound" and "output" part of applications as the Logitech speakers they were, but wouldn't put out any sound. So I took them back to Best Buy and got a set that plugged in through the speaker jack (the small one -- looks like the one for headphones). They didn't work either!!!! If you know of a way to make external speakers work on a MacBook, please write and explain. Brand names, web sites, etc., are welcome. (But I don't have a lot to spend, so I'd like to keep it under $80 if possible.) Thanks!

I have a 650VA UPS. It has a 12V 7.2A Battery. The amount of backup time that it provides is low so I'm thinking connecting another battery of the same model to it. I'm connecting the Batteries:

Batt 1 => (+) (-)
| |
Batt 2 => (+) (-)

It will extend my Backup time right? Also the Battery need a voltage of bitween 13.4 - 13.7V to recharge. It will work right?
If I connect it, it would mean that the UPS will become a 14.4A UPS right?

Thanks

Well my problem is this:

I like using my microphone for things such as teamspeak during games. And while using my microphone, my voice comes from my speaker. it didnt used to do this before. My question is, is there anyway to stop my voice from coming out of the speakers while still hearing the voices from Teamspeak and other voice chatting software?
