It's a mini hard drive you can plug into your computer to put in or take out files(good for school) you carry it around with you

A flash drive is a small component about 4cm x2cm x1cm that you can use in your computer's USB socket. It actually becomes another rive to which you can copy files and take them away to another computer. In brief it is a small mobile drive. Available at all computer shops. A 1 gig flash drive will cost you about $30. Shop around, there are good bargains. I could not live without my flash drive.
