I once had an Acer Aspire 3003Li laptop which ran its course till it broke down. buy that I mean broke down. Many parts just kinda...died. My mother gave me an old Dell Latitude M166MT to consol me. This laptop rocks. It is far better built than my old laptop and the clearity of the screen is far better than that of my old Acer. However, it is old. It has windows 95 still. I cannot upgrade with only 8 mb. There also is only a 2 gig hard drive. What do I do to upgrade it. It is slow so is it possible to increase its speed from 166 mhz to something larger. I love this laptop so don't say get a new one...I am to broke to do it, but I do have enough to upgrade. Please be specific to earn 10 pts.

My husband and I prefer different styles of optical mouse. He would like to get a ball mouse, but it's too big for my short fingers. If two mice are plugged into the usb ports, can we just sit down and use either mouse without restarting our laptop?

I had to re-install my os, and after that the sound wasnt working, Ihave tried installing the drivers by downloading them and by unistalling the device and letting windows pick it up as new hardware and install it automatically, neither work - what can i do???

I just bought an iBook with a 30GB hard drive, and I bought a new hard drive for it which is a 5400 RPM 120GB, I have an external Hard drive case (USB) and I want to copy everything to that new hard drive, so I can just install it into my laptop, and start it up with out any problems and start OS X

and all i want to do is move media from my SLVR L7 to my computer and from my computer to my phone and I've installed it on my computer but it asks me for a dial-up connection number. and i don't know what to put. help ?? i've tried everything i can think of. and i want to know why i need an internet connection just to bluetooth stuff. everytime i plug my ipod usb cable in my computer it starts beeping madly and wont stop unitl i take the cable out?
it isint my usb port because everything else works when i plug it in...like my data bar.
and i have also installed itunes.

I just installed a new external hard drive onto my computer. The computer recognizes it in the device manager. There are also no errors as it claims it is working properly. All of the drivers are updated and installed as well. It is an external hard drive enclosure with a Samsung 300gb hard drive inside. The computer knows it connected to the usb but wont show it on the removable device in explorer. It also does not allow to me save anything but it knows its connected. Is there anyway for me to make it reconize it as plug n play. It is an metal gear box by galaxy i bought it on newegg.com

I have a 5000 qc pro.
Installed the software, followed the directions (many times) and I still cant get it to work.
I amnow told I need the following inf files on my computer, and I do not have them (Xp Pro)
usb.inf
wdmaudio.inf
wdma_usb.inf

I need to know where they go.

I hear a clicking sound when turning on my pc. After turning it off and on again a few times it usually stops and all will resume as normal. lately I've been getting the message dells disk monitoring system has detected that drive 0 on the primary EIDE controls is operating outside of normal specifications. I don't know if it is related to the fact that the UPS has stopped.

i was looking at PCI graphics cards( not PCI express) and i noticed that there were two kinds. one had three things, and the other only two. the PCI port only has two things, so does the one with three work? o looked at one of the ones with three and it said that it worked with the PCI port and was compatable with all computers. is that true? and i know it wasnt AGP! thanks!!!
