Yes.
"Any" file stored on your computer's hard drive can be copied to a flash drive so long as the drive's storage capacity is large enough for the file.

Nowadays a full DVD movie can be converted to Xvid or DivX file format (excellent quality) which will result in a file averaging 700MB.
This will fit easily on a 1GB flash drive which commonly sells for under $30.

A flash drive is a high tech version of a floppy disk. You can store anything from programs and music to videos and files.

It can. Very short ones. If it will all fit on the flash drive, you can just treat the flash drive like any hard drive.
