Ok, They worked last night at about 1:30, but now, No sound comes out! I tried unplugging and replugging them into the notem and monitor and neither has worked. What else can I do? And if they're Just broken how can I get the sound to come out of my monitor?

ii dont want to save the dvd to my hard drive or memory first is there a way to get around this can i just put my disc in the drive and convert from there

When I plug in the USB cable to the computer nothing happens. The little white light on my Maxtor will go on but the windows explorer thingy doesn't open and the hard drive icon doesn't even show on the "my computer" folder. It was working fine a couple of weeks ago. What could be wrong? I did a system restore and it didn't fix the problem. Should I reinstall Windows?

I have currently on my Asus Motherboard PC5300 512 mb 667mhz (x2), and I ordered some more Ram. I just ordered 2GB Kingston 5300 or 5400 667mhz's. Now my question is, will it be okay to leave the other ram in. All these fall into my MB's compatibility. Would that mean I would have 3GB's of Ram or will I have problems installing the 2 sticks of 1GB each with these that are slightly lower?

when my dell computer, i bought in '04 with 256MB and just recently added 512MB, goes in to sleep mode my optical dell mouse that came with the computer stops glowing. i finding i have to restart my computer at least 3 times a day, i have tried placing it in different USB port spots and results are the same. i went to dell.com for answers and their sight is to complicated to find help for my problem.

ok i have a Gigabyte 945GM-S2 motherboard and there is no connector to allow for a fire wire nor do i have room to put a pci card with firewire as my video card and nic card have taken up all the room...the case has a firewire port but again since the board does not support it does me no good ..can someone please help and a usb adapter for the firewire does not work with my video camera.. thanks so much Michael

i just got a laser mouse and wanted to know. y when i put my eye right up to the laser the pointer wont move. i would think it should b/c my eye is not clear. any 1 know?

and yes i know u shouldnt look into the laser but its not goin to do anything if you only do it for a sec. so no1 has to say that.

very warm to the touch (almost hot). Is this normal? The comp is running fine but I am wondering if I need a heat spreader for my new ram module. These things are pretty expensive these days. Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

I ordered a Geforce 6800 XT and a new power supply to power it. I got the new video card to help my performance on a few games i play(counter-strike and guildwars) where my fps is always going up and down by 30-100. In my system I have a Intel p4 1.6 Ghz and was wondering if this was more of the problem then my FX 5500 that I have in it right now. I've heard from others that my video card might "bottleneck" and the upgrade would do nothing. (My RAM is 768) If someone could give me their opinion, that'd be great.

I got a USB memory stick around the holidays, and no matter what I've tried, I can't get anything to be saved onto it. Copying files to it doesn't work, and saving directly to it doesn't work. When I got it, there were programs already on it, but I accidentally deleted them, and haven't gotten around to finding out if they're necessary. Do I need to download those programs again, or am I missing something?
