Display with 1024-by-768 (or higher) resolution.

AGP Quartz Extreme or PCI Express graphics card (Final Cut Studio is not supported on systems using the Intel Extreme Graphics 950 GMA) .

This program is run on Macs. You either have to have their Quartz Extreme AGP card or you have to have a card that uses the newer PCIe port. Most newer cards use the PCIe ports on the newer mainboards.

If you have a Mac, you'll have to find out from Apple what you need to do to get this Quartz card. If the Mac you have is a newer Intel type, you can go buy any Intel PCIe card.

Probably, the graphics solution on your machine is onboard, which is way inadequate for heavy graphics processing like you get with FCP.

All graphics cards are definitely NOT the same, by a long shot.

each thing seems good except for the pictures card. integrated Intel X3100 is amazingly susceptible , no solid for video games. you should get a committed card like nVidia 8600M GT for solid gaming performance, or a minimum of an get entry to point 8400M GS. DELL at present released a sparkling computing device line named Studio, those have ATI committed playing cards, yet i imagine the cardboard in 15.4” sequence isn't very sensible (yet should be a lot extra valuable than the X3100). I highly propose the XPS M1530 with a 8600M GT as a conveyable gaming computing device.
