It depends on the TV card. U.S. television is NTSC.
UK TV is PAL which are incompatible formats.
If the TV card if it can receive NTSC programming will work fine in a UK computer.
Most TV cards can be set so as to allow them to receive different programming formats. Check the in the software setting that were installed with the card.

a tv tuner is just for hooking up d-video, coaxil, and composite cableing to your computer, whatever u put into it will come up on ur computer.
