I have currently on my Asus Motherboard PC5300 512 mb 667mhz (x2), and I ordered some more Ram. I just ordered 2GB Kingston 5300 or 5400 667mhz's. Now my question is, will it be okay to leave the other ram in. All these fall into my MB's compatibility. Would that mean I would have 3GB's of Ram or will I have problems installing the 2 sticks of 1GB each with these that are slightly lower?

As the speed and style of the chips are the same (both 667 mhz PC5300) you should e able to sun them together (assuming you have enough slots on the system board to hold them all and will support more then 2 gb of memory).

If you install the new chip and then the PC will not boot, ot beeps at you, then the memory is not compatible, and you will have to remove the older memory. If you have "crashing" or "lock up" issues after the install, remove the older memory.

Depending on the motherboard/chipset you may run into issues running 4 sticks of ram at the same time. Frequently either they will run slower or won't be stable. Knowing what motherboard model you have would assist in knowing if there will be a problem.

i think they should work fine
i have 3 sticks and 3 different brands in my computer, and it works fine
as long as the speed is the same, i see no problem
but if they are different, it will run at the slower speed
hope that helps
