ok i have a Gigabyte 945GM-S2 motherboard and there is no connector to allow for a fire wire nor do i have room to put a pci card with firewire as my video card and nic card have taken up all the room...the case has a firewire port but again since the board does not support it does me no good ..can someone please help and a usb adapter for the firewire does not work with my video camera.. thanks so much Michael

change to a wireless router and use a usb wireless adapter ... then u have room for the firewire card ...

if im looking at the right motherboard, you have integrated LAN
that means you dont need a nic card
so take out the nic card and put in a firewire card
that simple
heres the motherboard im looking at
never mind the cpu, its part of a bundle
