I got vista and I need extra storage for my laptop, I'm looking for a portable one and if you can, please site any links that would be a great help.

I would imagine that all of them "should" be .... however, stick with major brands like Western Digital or Seagate & I'm certain there will be no issues.

I googled it and I came up with the western digital HD from Amazon.
I included a link to where servel person say it works with vista.
I actually have the western Digital External HD and it works really well over USB with my XP PC ( I haven't physically tried it on vista though)
And you can't beat the price of $200 for a 500GB. Thats 40cents per GB.
