I've got a cheap little GeForce 7100 GS graphic card that I need to install. My computer's video card is integrated. I know I need to first disable this card. I DO know how to get into the BIOS, but cannot find where to enable/disable the onboard video.. Any help is a thanks. It's an emachines T3418 if that matters.

hey, what do these numbers mean;
my catagories and numbers read the following;

processor - 4.6
memory- 4.2
graphics 2.2
gaming graphics 3
primary hard disk 4

base score went from 2.3 to 2.2 after i hit refresh to get the newest score ? is this bad that it dropped? any help would be appreciated

It hasn't worked for a while and I have no idea why. The computer reads it when I insert it into any USB port --- the device lights up, the system tray tells me I have a USB Massive Storage Device installed, it appears as Drive E on My Computer, yet I can't open it up or even format it (it worked in the past, although not very well). It is a plug n' play and I have XP, so it can't be a driver issue. Even if I go to the Properties page and try to scan for errors, nothing happens. Windows Troubleshooting doesn't work either. As you can see, I have no idea what else I can do....help!

Hi i downloded a viedo torrent. I finally finished downloading it and put all (52) file things in VLC to watch it but it keeps saying there is somthing wrong and only plays like 47 seconds of it. Is there anything i can do do fix this PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

ok i have a Gigabyte 945GM-S2 motherboard and there is no connector to allow for a fire wire nor do i have room to put a pci card with firewire as my video card and nic card have taken up all the room...the case has a firewire port but again since the board does not support it does me no good ..can someone please help and a usb adapter for the firewire does not work with my video camera.. thanks so much Michael

I recently purchased a Samson C01U USB Studio Condenser microphone to use for podcasting. However I find the static is annoying! Here is an example I recorded for a different forum

Just purchased & installed new external 160gb hard drive and moved MyMusic folder to new drive. Now when I open I-Tunes, all of my music has been wiped clean. No record of my purchased songs, and nothing in library. Music is still on Windows Media Player, but I had other songs (several) that I had exclusively on I-Tunes. Can anyone help me to locate, or find out what exactly happened? I figured this would be such a no brainer, now I feel like I have no brain! Please.... any help/expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! - Dan

I have a new HP Pavilion Media Center a1730n PC, it has a 320GB 7200RPM SATA hard drive in it, I want to add another one inside, I'm new to all this SATA and stuff, I'm used to older windows 98 computers with the ribbon cables for the hard drives, so I'm clueless on how this one works out, I don't know if I can even put in another drive in here cause i dont know what to look for in this type of machine, would a Seagate 300GB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive work in this machine as a secondary drive?

I've read a lot of reviews, etc. regarding virtual-keyboards; they sound really cool and was interested in purchasing one for my Dell PC. I have no idea what "Bluetooth" is, and do I need that in order to run a virtual keyoard? I'm running w/WindowsXP right now and don't have any Bluetooth-connections that I'm aware of. What do I need in order to run this?

I want to get a pci express (x16 or regular) graphics card, preferably no more than $60. I would use it for some gaming and 3D rendering (I use Blender3D), plus I am getting Windows Vista soon.

Ok I have a gateway GT5040
I installed an...ati x1600pro gfx card which says 350 watts or more *recomended* but it works ok & play's games well.
but my power supply is 300 watts. #1 is that ok? ps. I've had it for almost a yr and it still works fine.

Well any way my main question is I want to get a Nvidia 7950gt oc to replace the ati one. Well that too says 350 watts.
Soo...#2Would it make it any worse to put that card in instead of my other one?

And lastly...#3 Could maybe someone who knows what there doin see the specs of the x1600pro & 7950gt...and make sure that they both would be ok in my Computer? THX A billion

In my Samsung Combo DVD Reader + CD Reader/Writer DVDs are not being read although CDs are working properly. I mean although light blinks on inserting DVD but neither DVD is working nor there is any noice of running of DVD. i want to buy a webcam but last time i went into the store, there are all kinds on the shelve. some from $20 something all the way up to $100 something.. what is the difference and which brand do you recommend. i dont want to buy a cheap one and get what i payed for but i also dont want to spend a ton for something just over priced. iam willing to pay for a good quality pictures cam & good video on instant messengers. thanks.

Ok I have an external hard drive hooked up to my comp, it would read it as G DRIVE . I recently hooked up a camaera to my comp, and it now reads my exteranl hardrive as H DRIVE
hoe can i get it to switch back to G drive????

hi, i just bought comp recently. now noticed that all my usb port is not hi-speed.

its just keep giving me the same msg when i plug my external HD
the error msg is Hispeed inserted into a Non Hispeed..
but i check the device manager
its say mine is usb2.0

i check the bios and its is already on enable status

what could be the problem?
i check all my six usb port..
and they say keep saying it non hispeed..

is there something i forget to do??

i try the external HD on my old com and
its is working fine

is there some kind of drivers i need to get??
