problems with wireless mouse??

when i put the usb in it sayed that it recognized it but when i tried to move the mouse it would not move even after i followed the instructions it still would not work....It is a Belkin i think...ca anyone out there help me??????

reinstall the driver reboot pc if problem persists then i dont know what to do.

Remove the mouse & install the drivers FIRST.
Then shut down the PC ... insert the new mouse & restart Windows.
All should work ok from there.
