I have just bought a pci card and upgraded my USB to 2.0. I put in the driver cd and got this warning!!!
"The VIA pci to USB enhanced host controller has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatability with windows xp.. This driver has not been digitally signed."
Can anyone recomend a usb 2.0 that works with windows?

Thanks...

This just means that it has not been tested by MS. Many peripherals that havn't been tested work fine. Go ahead and use it.

That warning simply means the manufacture of your USB PCI card hasn't PAID Microsoft money to be MS certified, just ignore it. The specs for your card should be printed on the box and instructions, and should state Windows compatible, etc.

Make it a great day!

It should be safe to install the drivers that you have. Microsoft charges a fee (allegedly) to have software digitally signed. To save costs, some software manufacturers don't get their software signed. I get the same message with my USB driver cd. I always install and have had no problems.

That warning really does not mean it want work with windows, I lot of devices generate that warning when installing, all that means is that Microsoft and the Vender of that product you are installing did not consult with each other during the designing phase but 80% of the time its ok to continue with the install

Ignore that warning. It just means that microsoft hasn't blessed that particular driver, since obviously there are so many devices out there that microsoft can't personally check every single one.

Now that I think about it, a USB controller shouldn't need its own driver CD...
