I doubt it.
Floppy yes, CD/DVDs, I really doubt it.

Up to a point. A flash drive is easy to erase and put more data on. A CD/DVD is a more permanent thing. Most older computers won't boot from a flash drive, so in some instances a CD/DVD is mandatory. You pretty much have to have a CD/DVD to put an Operating System on a computer.

Well, not exactly, flash drives will be able for use on certain computers than others, so if your flash drive is not the right one for your computer, i would stick with blank CD's and DVD's

It is highly unlikely to be replacing CD's and DVD because primarily flash drives are used for temporary as well as mobile storage for your data, and thus unlikely to be used in distributing commercial applications/games. Not to mention distribution of such devices would be prohibitively expensive as well.
