DELL 4600c tells the world nothing!

Three choices.

READ your MOTHERBOARD Users Guide.

Unplug your computer from the wall. Open the case. Take out the RAM module. Copy the information off the RAM. Put it back into the motherboard. Take the info to the place where you will buy the RAM.

Last, go on-line. Look up your computer by name and model number. Look at specifications. Copy down RAM type from specification.

READ motherboard Users Guide for installing the RAM. Many times the exact slot, relative to how much RAM, is specified! R E A D
