It is most likely integrated onto the mainboard so I would say it
cannot be replaced.

If you have another available USB port you can use a small USB hub to make up for the loss ... or if your laptop has a PCMCIA slot you can buy an addon USB adapter :

Contact the manafacturer as it is probably not possible to replace a USB port on a laptop. You can get a PCIMA add on card so you wil get 2 extra USB ports, the cards are relatively cheap and you install them yourself so it would be the cheapest way to get the port replaced.

the USB port is part of your laptop. It can't be removed. same with desktops. if you take out the USB port on a desktop, which you can't, your computer would instantly crash and fail to start.

laptop parts are not interchangeable.

So you have to contact yr laptop supplier
