Which kind of webcam should i get?

I don't know anything about webcams and i need one that has really good quality and makes motion in the pictures smoothly on the monitor. Any suggestions?

How much have you got to spend.

The webcam you are describing, as in perfect movement, tracking and speed is upwards of £100 or $200.

If you would like an average webcam you should be looking at:

Logitech
Microsoft

Webcams. The average cost is around £30 - 50 or $80.

It depends on how much you are willing to spend on it. But as I see everyone else has already said i have found that Logitech (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/productlist/US/EN,crid=2203,categoryid=17) ones are good. The more megapixels the clearer the videos and pictures will be.

Also there are some special effects on some of the more expensive web cams. Like the ability to make it look like you are an alien, or wearing a mask, or in a different country, or things like that.

Logitech makes some good high quality images, if you get one with right light 2 technology.....They are a bit pricey though....
