How do I change the speed. My Motherboard says it can handle up to 800Mhz. The ram is Ocz Gold XTC 2x1 Gb. My motherboard is an ECS junker BUT it says it can do 800Mhz. I have looked in the bios and see nowhere about changing ram speed or timings. Just how much I have installed.

I have 9 Card readers built into my Computer, and they are of course listed under Devices With Removable Storage. EX: My "C" Drive, 31/2 Floppy, BUT the problem is when I Boot up My computer and put in my SD CARD from my Digital Camera "H" Drive is not listed at times, BUT if I shut down the computer and restart it, "H" Drive IS listed again. What do I have to do to keep my Removable Drives for removable Storage LISTED so I do not have to shut down and Reboot everytime I want to insert the SD Card? It usually does this AFTER I Delete the Pix off the SD Card after I send them to my Documents so I can Edit them and save them to a CD. Thanx for any info you may be able to provide in advance.

I'm trying to install a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000. And I put the disc in and follow the instructions. Then when it comes to install, it takes forever. I started at like 830pm and it kept on going until like 840. I tried it 3-4 times, and it just keeps on taking forever. What could be causing this problem?

And I still have my old webcam (creative) in the computer, still. Should I take that out?

My USB flash drive always messes up and I can't open it sometimes because it wants me to format it. I don't know why this isn't working but I also want to know what I should format it as FAT, FAT 32, or NTFS. Also, what is the difference in capacity and allocation unit size? Thanks.

I have a 500GB SATA HDD Seagate External Hard Drive. I was backing up data yesterday and accidentally pulled the power plug halfway (it was still connected), then the drive stopped working and started making clicking noises. I tried to connect it to the computer again and no response. I did a little research and found that the drive is about to die so I have to take it to a professional to back it up.
Can someone please tell me how will it be done? I mean will the technicians fix the drive and send it back to me to backup the data, or will they transfer the data elsewhere to be sent back to me? and approximately how much should it cost? (I have approximately 400 GB of data stored on it). Also if anyone know a good technician in the NYC area, please do tell. Thanks!

Hi there... My CD burner works fine when there is content on the CD but when I go to insert a blank CD to be burned the green light just keeps flashing but nothing happens. Window pops up asking that a blank CD be inserted into the drive but it's already inserted and doesn't recognize the blank CD to be burned. Nothing happens and the pop up doesn't disappear. I wonder if I just need to buy a new CD-R burner device for my computer??? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!!!
