At the moment i'am with talktalk on a Speedtouch modem,They have now told me that its not big enough and they are sending me a lager one,But it connects to the computer in a different maner,Can someone please explain how this works.G.F.

Usually, they connect via an Ethernet Category 5 cable. They will send you the cable. You connect it to the out port on the MODEM and to an Ethernet plug on the computer. Nearly every computer these days has one.

It's probably using a network connection with RJ45 connectors, it should plug right into your computer's Ethernet card but if you have an older system you may need to have one installed.

you can install lan driver and can run modem by lan wire it will maximise ur net speed
