When I try to burn a song on a CD/WR that already has some data, I always can't do that even the CD has enough space.

cause the cd is closed... its not possiable with those cds get a new cd and use that otherwise use the whole cd to start with

I don't know which software u r using to write ur CD, but u can add any kind of data to any cd which has some space left if u did not finalized it, in nero there is an option which if unchecked will allow u to add further data.

First insert the CD then click open the cd folder in "my computer folder" then u will no is the cd empty or no longer if u want the photographs to b copied to the cd then open the photograph then correct click on the photograph then click replica to the cd

If you burn using Nero then you must use Multisession feature. it allows you to add more files later on your disk
To use it
File -> New
on Multisession choose :
Start Multisession disk to create the multisession disk
Continue multisession disk to continue the multisession disk
No multisession disk

if its a cd writeable then you cant change it. if its a cd re-writeable then try deleting the old stuff on it, then adding that old stuff as well as the new stuff on at the same time. thats what i have to do for my cd's.

you can only do this if it a rewritable disc
