My m/b A7N8X-E-Delux is equipped with 2 SATA & 3 PATA HDD (each 120 GB without any partition and non in RAID configuration), Athlon XP 2800+ processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 256 mb graphics, 400W power supply & Win XP. Since I am associated with video editing, tried to increase storage capacity by instlling another 4 PATA HDD (one by one) using external USB 2.0 HDD cassing for plug & play. Accordingly, OS recognised the harddisks and drive letter was assigned . After re-starting machine become unstable. Simptom - OS sometimes failed to recognise these additional HDDs. I tried all possible methods best known to me but could not resolve the problem. Is this a OS problem /limitation? How can I use maximum number of HDD at a time. What is the maximum number of HDD windows can accept ?

I have an ECS P4VXASD2+ (V5.0), purchased 2 x 512 mb pc2100 non ecc, unbuffered kingston ram ( kvr266x64c25/512). I have an addition 512 mb ( KVR133x64c3/512)

2.53GHZ P4 , 128mb ati radeon 9000 pro, 2 port usb pci, creative sound blaster sound card

It works perfect with just 1 stick of 512mb but when i add the other ram, it gives me the blue screen. I have no idea how to fix this...is it possible that i need to take out some of the jumpers on the motherboard? it also restarts randomly if it loads up to windows xp. can someone please help!!!?

my computer uses both DDR and SDRAM

4 slots total

2 for the pc266 and 2 for pc133

I'm after the name of a cd/dvd storage device that holds about 100 cds and dvds and you can hook it up to your computer and access it via your computer.

Does anyone know the name of it? Or where I could buy one?

I want to be able to watch HD-DVDs in all their HD glory on my PC. I know I have to get an HD-capable monitor and I have my eyes set on a real nice 22" samsung widescreen, that has HD hookups. Will it work with my GeForce 7900 gtx video card?? Do I need a special DVD-ROM or anything else? Thanks.

I have a dell dimension 2400, I know it has PCI slots and they suck but it's all I have to work with. I bought a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200. I've tried to install it about 5 times each time trying different ways that I've read on the net. Everytime after disabling the onboard card and installing the new one I plug the monitor into the card but the screen is black, I try the other slot then plug it into the normal slot on the tower and it's fine (except for preception issues from disabling the onboard). I go to install the drivers on the CD that came with the card but it says "No hardware found". Please help.
