I have a default emachine case and 250w power supply? I want to change power supply to 450w. Some guy at Fry's said I did.

I have a Mitsumi D63119 floppy disk drive, which I'd like to turn into an external floppy drive using a USB connection to retrieve files from and use floppy discs. I'm pretty good with computers, but I don't know what type of connection this drive has, so an image of it's connections is available here: http://www.leknifragonline.net/mitsumi.jpg.

I just put in my mother's DVD drive from her compaq, and it won't open for me, my mom said that the drive didn't work for her machine either so, how can i fix this problem?

I have a Dell Dimension 4550 and the sound card was fried due to a mean virus. I bought a new Diamond 7.1 sound card at Staples, To my surprise it needs a different cable to connect to the motherboard. I went to Comp USA (50 miles away) just to find the right cable and ended up having to try to splice the old and new ones together. No big shock, it didn't work. Can someone maybe suggest a website (besides Dell) to find what I need?

I think Im having an issue with my graphics card. I have a Nvidia GeForce FX 5200. I can't seem to play the Sims 2 anymore. It chops all up and freezes. Impossible to play. This happens at the city selection screen. I uninstalled the drivers, installed them back, uninstalled them, tried older drivers, those didnt work..tried newer drivers...Absolutely nothing works! This game was working fine last week, any ideas?

computer crashed too many times,tryed to reinstall windows xp cd.while installing it said it could not install wmvdmod.dll . so it said to skip if i wanted too i did and it wont finish installing.something about installing windows rootsystem32 hal.dll.how do i do that?

is there a program for installing windows 98 and millenuim on a p.c(or notebook) without a bootable cd-rom,similar to the one avalible for windows xp
i need this as i have a compaq amarda notebook with a pcmcia cd-rom and when trying to install 98 or m.e it dosent recognize the pcmcia device
alternetively,is there a driver in floppy disc format that you can instal in dos so that you can use the pcmcia cd-rw( teac cd-r224e)
any advice would be helpfull

Hi have a SanDisk micro cruzer 1gb flash drive and I am uable to install it onto my laptop. When I put it into the flash drive my computer freezes. When i take it out the computer is fine. Please help me if you can. What can I do to make it work right?
