How do I change the quality of my webcam?

When I turn on my webcam, the image on it is very blurry. I have tried everything I know to make the image clearer, but nothing seems to work. I need some new ideas of what I can do to make the image on my cam clearer.

if it is blurry all you can do is clean the lens with a cotton bud and focus it by turning the plastic ring that goes round the lens
