I have a Mitsumi D63119 floppy disk drive, which I'd like to turn into an external floppy drive using a USB connection to retrieve files from and use floppy discs. I'm pretty good with computers, but I don't know what type of connection this drive has, so an image of it's connections is available here: http://www.leknifragonline.net/mitsumi.jpg.
Thanks for your help!

In response to martin's question...

I don't have any open positions for a floppy drive in my desktop, and I have floppy discs with files on it still. I don't think it's worth buying a new floppy drive, when I can just (hopefully) add objects to this floppy drive.

For what a ready-made external floppy drive would cost you, it's not worth the time and money trying to convert an external one to do what you want. Below is a link for one that'll do the job inexpensively. Good luck.

Why would you want to turn an internal into an external?
