My friend said that a TV tuner has AV jacks in the back that you could just plug into. True or false? If false is there another way?

Ok, my old question stated

"Ok, I'm not sure but, I recently got a GeForce 6600 Video Card. In the begining I wanted to get a GeForce 6800, but the guy at the store told me that my PC will not be able to use it (or so he thought). So I had to get a 6600 one. Now, my question is, is there a website that can check my system and tell me if I can use the card that I'm looking for? Kind of like "Can I run this Game" thing on the Nvidia web site, only for video cards? If you know one, please give me the adress, and if possible, a straight like, not just the site name. Thanks a lot. "

Now, for some of you out there that would really like to help, I have an 775V88+/A/ASR Motherboard. On this website (http://www.asrockamerica.com/Products/775V88.htm) are all the things about it.Still, I just dont get it. I gess that my question is, will I be able to use a Nvidia 7800 Video Card on this PC? If not, Can anyone please tell me what isthe maximum card (From Nvidia) that I can use? Thank you

It plugs into my laptop, the drivers are fine, its the keyboard itself. Its almost as if I have to type twice as hard as I do with any other keyboard and before I go out and buy YET another keyboard, I want to see if I can possibly fix this one. It's really slowing down my typing because I am constantly backspacing to add a letter that didnt type. Any help offered is appreciated. Thanks.

I have older Mac G3 with 1GHD, running OS 9.1. (Need to keep machine for tax programs). Bought external LaCie SCSI 50G as an add on. G3 hard drive is "HFS", external 50G is "HFS+". Desktop shows both hard drives fine. cSystems profiler shows both fine. Mac G3 is"0" and 50G add on is "1" in SCSI chain. Why does the MAC lock up when I try to move-copy existing folders to the new 50GHD? Have to do hard reboot!

If I copy-move one (1) file at a time... no problem and no lock up. Copy-write process starts and then freezes with folders or multiple files. Could this be due to my installed Norton's Utilities (File Saver)? Could this be due to SCSI term error? What is difference
between HFS and HFS+? Should both drives be formatted the same?

I bought a 250GB external hard drive. It is a SATA drive connected via USB2 to the PC.

Now I am having many problems with it. I copied many files to it without errors and I never had a hang up. However, after a few days, I'm getting a lot of "corrupted folder" errors on Windows XP. Doing a chkdsk /R finds many errors. In fact, every time a do it, more and more errors are displayed. Does this mean the hard drive was defective and replacing it would fix it? I'm puzzled because there were no I/O errors/ hang ups / power outages etc which would cause such errors. The format was OK and there are no defective blocks or sectors reported.

Apparently certain brands switch manufacturers periodically. Please specify both brand and manufacturer, if known. Thanks.

I downloaded the beta of Windows Vista 64 bit edition. I was on the Microsoft site and noticed that Vista has a Windows ReadyBoost feature. Here's what their site says about it:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/features/foreveryone/performance.mspx

It looks like you can plug any thumb drive into a USB port on your pc and your pc can use it as additional RAM memory. It seems like this could be an inexpensive way to boost your system performance. Anyone tried it and noticed a difference?

Is this Mobo any good?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138253R

Yeah, I know its $37 but its SLI capable and it can support all the components I have in my comp already. I don't want other suggestions, I just want to know if the cheap mobos at NewEgg are any good as long they have what I need.

What are the differences the $37 motherboard and this $190 motherboard.
