Is this Mobo any good?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138253R

Yeah, I know its $37 but its SLI capable and it can support all the components I have in my comp already. I don't want other suggestions, I just want to know if the cheap mobos at NewEgg are any good as long they have what I need.

What are the differences the $37 motherboard and this $190 motherboard.

First I don't like either of those motherboards but I will tackle your first question and get to the rest in a minute. Okay the $37 one I'm almost certain will not support PCIe x16 when operating in SLi mode, it will most likely operate in PCIe x8 mode when two cards are installed. There won't be MUCH difference in performance but I find this unacceptable. Now the $187 well, I would have said that it would operate in full PCIe x16 mode but unless it is explicitly stated then I wouldn't trust it to do so. If you are looking at AMD processors then go with this motherboard, it is simply THE BEST AMD motherboard and it's expensive at around $180 but the quality and extras you get with it make it totally worth it, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131568 and if you are looking for other top motherboards to consider head over here, http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,125195,00.asp and the motherboard you have chosen is open box which means it won't come with extras, it may not have the driver CD or backplate and the SLi bridge may be missing. You NEED the SLi bridge for dual graphics cards to function correctly. I know of no place that you can purchase it so you have to get it with the motherboard.

newegg is a good company. Been using them for purchases on my job for about a year and I have no complaints. If it has what you need, let'r rip!
