i need to upgrade my actual memory how do i find out what memory card i need and how do i install it i have a dell dimension DIM3000 INTEL (R) celeron (r) cpu 2.66ghz can someone please help because im fed up with getting low vir mem messages thanks!

i just converted my c drive into ntfs file system.. should i convert the other drives also or i can stay with fat32 only?

wat is the advantage of FAT32 over NTFS?

which would be a better place to discuss about such computer related doubts ? anyother online forms will serve better??

When I copy some files to ny flash memory there is no problem. I go home and want to use the files; then I am not able to opne them. It says the files are corrupted. I formatted the flash disc and also used the "chkdsk /f" command to fix the problem but its always the same.

I am planning on getting one cause my daughter got a program to make dvd movies from pictures and stuff saved on our computer but we only have a cd burner and I didn't realize we'd need something seperate. When I turn on my notebook, sometimes, it will say that there are no networks available. However, my husband's notebook right next to it will be logged on. When it says this, it is not finding ANY networks (so I know it is not just my router not working) and there are always networks around me so I think that it is the card. Other times, it works just find and logs on as soon as it is turned on. When it is not detecting networks, I have to turn it off and back on (Not a great use of time). What should I do???

I've been having trouble capturing in final cut pro due to dropped frames every 30 seconds or so. I've looked at the apple troubleshooting page and have concluded that my harddrive must be fragmented. I'm looking into buying Disc Warrior, but in order to run Disc Warrior to fragment my harddrive it must be run from a separate drive. I only have one internal drive and the external drive I have doesn't have osX on it. Any ideas?

im off to the usa in 2 weeks and im now thinking about buying my laptop in the usa to use back here in sunny morecambe...
have got £700.00 thats a whopping big $1400 dollers :))) any advise, will i be able to use the built in wifi ? the plug will be different i know but i can change that. as long as the power pack will take 240v and not just 110v.

if you have bought one or have any advise that would be great thanks.

When Windows Vista first came out, I recall it was January. Maybe in February, I needed a laptop, so my father and I went to Best Buy to look for some notebooks. We asked the Geek Squad what they think, buy or don't buy Windows Vista. The man said " I would wait until the summer because the opperating system is new", which I agree on. Now it's July, and I called the Geek Squad and asked them again, buy or don't buy Windows Vista. The guy said "I would wait until the end of summer to buy a laptop becuase it's the little bugs and viruses on Windows Vista that make you want to pull out your hair". I'm confussed. I don't know what to do, I want to wait so I have a good notebook for a while, but then again I get impatient waiting for Windows to finaly fix these minor problems. I read what people said to others, " Wait 6 months". Please reply.

I have a Toshiba satellite pro L20 with a 1.73GHz pentium M processor, 512Mb RAM (can be upgraded to 2Gb).

It doesn't do very well when I try to play games on it, I'm not sure if this is due to lack of RAM or the graphics card or whatever.

Do you think that adding more RAM would solve my problems or should I get a better computer with a better graphics card and more RAM?

(I have Direct X 9.0 with Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express chipset: I have no idea what this means however, hope you do)
