There are some pretty misinformed people on here.
Macs are now running on PC hardware using Intel processors. Older Macs that use the PowerPC processor from IBM/Motorola used operating systems that are not convertible, because they are not on the x86 architecture that PC's use.
So in theory "today", it should be possible, but Apple I believe has locked down its operating system so that it can't just run on any hardware. It must detect that it's running on an Apple-built system. I also don't think their OS works with AMD processors. I imagine by now that there are ways around that, but it's probably considered illegal and certainly not supported by Apple!

There is no way to covert PC to Mac because the hardware
support in Mac is totally different than PC. But you can use the softwares like virtual pc and install Mac using it. it will still load windows but through that software you can run Mac OS!!

you could run "some" homestead windows based application on a mac with the help of employing WINE. it incredibly is between the main important issues of a Mac. maximum application is written for the IBM Clone (workstation) based working device, ie, homestead windows, and could no longer artwork on a Mac. additionally, Mac's in basic terms do no longer run video games ok. they're gaining floor in this section, yet for now, in case you opt to do any heavy gaming, you would be wanting a workstation. Now are not getting me incorrect, Mac's are very stable desktops. they're the main suitable whilst it includes photos modifying. yet for standard use, IBM Clones are nevertheless the main suitable thank you to bypass.

Yes, and quite simply so. All you need to do is find an Intel-based distribution of the Mac operating system and then install it.
Macintosh is now producing their new line of computers on X86 processors, so if you know a friend who has an Intel Macintosh - you can simply ask for the operating system from them, or purchase it from Macintosh directly.
They are trying to spread their influence on as many computer systems as possible to take shares from Microsoft - so they would be HAPPY to oblige to your request.
I hope for the best in your newly aquired art or expressional career.
