Please re-post and describe your specific problem, with the program name and error messages (if applicable) and a description of your PC and operating system.

If your machine hasn't completely given up the ghost, reboot the darn thing to see if you can re-create the problem, taking careful notes on everything you do along the way. Write down any error messages you encounter and don't leave out any of the "technogobbledygook".

Tell us what you SEE.

Then, we can try to help.

Well, here are few things to check before getting quite technical with what might be wrong.

1) Do you have a different power cord to try to the back of the pc?
2) Make sure that the switch on the back of the pc near the fan at the top of the case is on.
3) Try turning it on again and see if there is any movement of the fan. It is possible it it is turning on and you are just not seeing the screen come up.
4. If all of the above fail it probably means your power supply went bad. You would need to get someone to replace that for you.

Hope this helps and Good Luck!

The obvious question is "Is it plugged into a working outlet".
Second "Is it plugged into a power strip or surge protector?"
(sometimes these need to be reset or even replaced).

The third problem is more serious and fairly common. You have a bad power supply. Unless you really know what you're doing, it's best to take the computer to a shop to have the power supply replaced.
