Almost every time I try to plug in a USB cord into my front-mounted USB ports on my computer, the computer immediately shuts down or restarts when the metal off the cord comes into contact with the metal of the port. They don't even have to be connected... it's pretty strange. And annoying. Why???

Is the Radeon 9550XT platinum edition 128mb 500mhz core/ 400mhz memory.
Is this an alright card all i want is GTAIII-SA,Underground 1,2.
Grand Prix 4 on high setting at 1024x768.

I bought a new 160 gb seagate hd recently to add to my old 40 gb one. I set the jumper to cable select position and set it to be slave since the OS is in the old HD. It is detected in BIOS as slave, and also in the Windows(i can see it in my device manager). It has gone through 'New Hardware Detected' too. The problem is, the drive won't appear in My Computer. There are only drives of my old HD, but not the new one. Can you help me?

I'm going to buy a laptop but haven't decided if it is going to be Asus F3JP - 15.4", or Asus A8JR - 14.1" . I'm a graphic and webdesigner and use Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver constantly.
I'm thinking of getting also a monitor to use at home.
Is it very hard to work with these tools in a 14.1" laptop?
I wanted the lighter one because it's easier to carry around.

I need a laptop w/XP as soon as possible for a 2-month trip starting in 8 days. Dell offers XP still, but all of their laptops don't ship until May 9th. Where can I find a laptop with these specs ready to ship?

I bought a samsung camcorder and a mac book to star making a editing home vidios. when trying to connect them using a firewire cable to star editing i found out that SAMSUNG camcorders are not compatable with mac books (imovies)

I got a Hard Disk Drive which has these features:
- USB to IDE Enclosure
- USE 1.1/USB 2.0 Compliant
- Aluminium Casing
- Easy Data Backup and Transfer
- Built-in Cooling Fan

It supports Windows XP. When I tried to connect the computer with it, Windows detected it and installed something. Later nothing happens. It is an external Hard Disk Drive, isn't it? How do I actually use it...? The box contains only a disk[supports only Windows98], a usb cable and adapter...

Or will it let me adjust the large fonts and screen size?
It is a Pentium 4 512mb ram 40 gb hardrive? When I go to Control Panel display the color guage will not move and when I boot up a bubble tells me the resolution and color settings are set real low?
