Core2 Duo (Conroe) is Intel's latest high performance 64bit processor for desktops and laptops.

Core duo (Yonah2 core) is Intel's 32bit dual core for laptops ONLY. It is older technology than Core2 Duo.

Centrino is Intel's mobile platform consisting of its processor, chipset and built-in wifi.

there's no difference...both are using same technology which is intel core 2 duo...the thing is core 2 duo is for desktop and centrino duo optimized for notebooks or portables....

Duo 2 core. -----2 core processors and if you want the best out there get Duo2core with Viiv technology
