I have a hp a1243w and was wondering if it supports a ATX PSU as I need to buy a video card and I have a stock PSU so I'm upgrading that as well. It was purchased about a year and a half ago so it's fairly new its a AMD Athlon 64 3200+. I think all of the "newer" computers can hold atx's but I'm not sure. Incase it matters, the PSU in the a1243w is about 5 inches wide, about 3-4 inches tall (i think) and about 5 inches in depth (from side of case to other side of case). Does this sound like the size of a atx PSU? I can't tell by the picture, incase you were wondering here is the picture.

I was told that my pc probably can use atx but my case might not be big enough to hold it inside. Comments please? Here is the HP link containing my motherboard,etc

I took a hard drive out of one tower that was not working and put it into another tower and it booted up fine. I take the same hard drive and put it into its original tower and it will not work. I have tried setting the jumpers, i have also tried a diffrent ribbon cable. If I put my windows XP disk in and try to repair, it goes through the motions but still no boot up.

I just wiped my harddrive installed windows and nod32 and then i went to play warrock and turned on my speakers and they dont work they are pulled in and everything i have onboard sounds with my motherboard any ideas?

I am having some trouble with my D-Link Router, I have connected everything perfectly, but the Printer does not work through the Print Server. I'm thinking it could be because it is a Printer/Scanner/Copier not just a Printer. Any clues?? thanks!!

I bought a mac 2 weeks ago, with a warranty and everything from the Apple store, here in Los Angeles, and I've been experience weird sounds with my MacBook Pro. I mean it just isn't the usual fan sounds, it's like really big and stuff. Louder than usual. So I call AppleCare at least 5 times already, sent it over 2 times at least, and they said that they couldn't fix it. What's up with that? They said that weird sounds didn't qualify as a replacement, and if I really can't stand, I should buy a new one. What should I do? This doesn't seem right to me. What do you suggest I do?

I went to buy a toshiba satellite note book , in best buy and then to circuit city, in the add you see the price was, 469.00 but after they gave us the real price, it was almost 1,200,cause they told us they have to include the software, antivirus etc, i really want to buy something simple. only for internet use and some office works, but with all included my top price is 600.00 can you please help me , i live in new york city, and don't know much about computers, thanks!
