All the parts you have mentioned are pretty much non essential parts you can go to newegg and score them pretty cheap. However you will have to pick a pc to install them to as the XP and 98 drivers are different.

If your computer does not have a USB port, it could be too old for an upgrade. The BIOS may require an update in order to support USB.

... you're unlikely to have the potential to enhance it, only because of the fact this is outfitted on an historical motherboard. i'm able to assure you that in spite of the undeniable fact that lots money you spend procuring out-of-production areas that in the process great condition will extremely build a clean equipment which will outperform it particularly. we are speaking like $4 hundred, in step with threat much less. to place it into attitude: you have a unmarried-middle processor with 750MHz. industry standards are for twin-middle processors each with over 2000MHz clock speeds. you have 64MB of RAM. contemporary industry standards are for ~2000MB of RAM, minimum. you have a 30 gigabyte no longer common stress. the common laptop no longer common stress is unquestionably over 100GB in length. you have a CD-ROM stress. maximum computers have DVD-ROM commonplace, if no longer great-Multi (DVD burners). you have a video card with 8MB of VRAM. standards for committed taking part in cards are around 512MB those days. and finally... modems are no longer to any extent further, particularly. in case you're nevertheless making use of this, I congratulate you on your staying power, in spite of the undeniable fact that it's time to bypass on. If this is in straight forward terms a working laptop or pc you recent in a nook someplace (and it hasn't had any utilization), i'm afraid this is woefully previous.
