If your looking to play the latest pc games,it will run the game, potentially slow, & it also will not let u select highest quality for game play, remember, ram plays a big part in how fast the game will run,if you have the money to spend, get a higher ghz processor & at least more than 1 GB of ram..don't forget about a good graphics card also...

Laptops are usually designed to run cooler than desktops. Most likely the CPU is a Pentium M. This CPU is based on Celeron. If it's an AMD, it's still based on mobile technology. Also your video card is 2 or 3 years old. It might play some older games. Newer games are demanding more from your CPU and GPU. Your RAM might be 512KB or 1MB of RAM. The only Laptops design for gaming are Alienware and now Dell with it XPS series. These are expensive. Personally, I wouldn't buy a laptop for gaming. I would use it mostly for travel and email.

Depends on the processor, 1.6GHz on an Intel Core Duo is plenty fast, but a Intel Pentium 4 or Intel Celeron, even an AMD is not fast enough, depends on the processor. But I hope this gives you an idea. Thanks!

If all you're going to do is play games, why not invest in an X-Box or Playstation III. It would be cheaper, almost, than a Laptop.

1.6 is kind of in the middle. nowadays they have 3.5 and up ghz. it also depends on the game. for a good gaming speed you are going to want at least a 2.6 (pretty fast) what type of computer is it and what game? what type of system does the game require? in conclusion you are probably going to want to get a faster one.

Should be good enough with a decent amount of memory and a decent video card.
