the first one is sold at 130, the second one is sold at 90 dollars.

i just want to build a computer that i can use to browse the internet, a little photo editing, watch some dvd.

i was thinking about the 130 package, but now this 90 dollars seems even better. are they any different since the chip is the same amd chip?

I want to get a new computer with an AMD processor, cos I've heard they're pretty goodI'm lost, they should come with a sticker saying "this is the equivalent to a Pentium" or "this is the equivalent to a Core 2 Duo" - joke. I also don't understand how to judge their speed in relation to their Intel counterparts.

I want to copy/backup my data on a DVD+R disk but problem is that my computer is not detecting the disk. It keeps on saying insert disk. It is detecting CDs (if i insert a blank CD) but not this DVD. My laptop is HP Compaq nx6110 and i have TSSTcorp CDW/DVD TS-L462C
If i buy DVD-R disks will it work?

Is there any way to add a second monitor with a feature that I can click a window on my primary monitor and say "show on other monitor" I don't want to clone the primary as I don't want them to see everything going on or anyone walking by my office to see what I'm doing. If there is a program or a way to do this please let me know.

I have slowly rebuilt my computer over time from a store bought one years ago, right now it has no old hardware from when I bought it, even a new case. :)

Right now I have a this motherboard;

A 3.2ghz intel celeron cpu they don't even sell anymore.

2GB DDR DIMM

My problem is the performance of my computer in games like World of Warcraft. My frame rate is usually 15-20 which I know is horrible. Right now the only option I see to fix the problem would be to buy a new gfx card which would have to be the new PCI express kind which would mean I need a new motherboard which would also require a new CPU and ram... which is quite costly.

Do you guys know of any other way I could go about increasing the performance to something more like 50-70 fps, cheaper?

i had to do a complete full system restore, w/ the back up disk and everything, which took out all the music, pics, games etc, is there any way to get these back??)

i found the file under "my back up" in the c drive, how do i restore these files??

please be SPECIFIC and tell me every step of the way...
i have no idea what i'm doing and need all the help i can get.

i already went to my computer and control panel, but couldn't seem to find anything.

When i switched my pc on yesterday morning i noticed a new hardware symbol in the bottom right hand corner i believe i clicked on it and it disapeared.Now though when i click the start symbol in the bottom left and then click my computer it says there is a 3 1/2 floppy drive in devices with removable storage and i have done nothing different and have certinately have not connected a floppy drive.Also not sure whether this is connected but when i switch on my pc when it firsts starts it now asks me to press either f1 or DEL to continue.I have so far pressed f1 and it starts up as usual but it never asked me to do this before yesterday.I hope someone can help me stop my pc from thinking it has a 3 1/2 floppy connected.

Like a lot of other people, my Dell notebook tries to install the Sonic Update Manager and ends up telling me to insert the disk and when I click cancel it tells me to use a valid copy of UM.MSI.

I've tried to follow the Dell Support site: downloading and running the hotfix from the Sonic/Roxio site and utilizing the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. This has not worked and I'm going out of my mind.

At first I thought I did somethink to delete it but then under my husband's name his recycle bin shortly dissappeared too. We have done everything to try to locate it such as search and so on but have not been sucessful. It is eating up our memory to not be able to empty our recycle bins so any help would be great. I posted this question earlier and did what everyone said, and it still says my computer is low on memory, It only happens when i click on a certain link that pulls up windows media player. I choose C; drive, which is my main drive, was i supposed to choose D; drive? I don't even know where virtual memory needs to be, I'm still learning. help?

Games and videos work fine. I've fiddled with display settings but cant find the right one to fix it. I am connecting to the tv through its monitor connection (not s-vid). Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a nvidia 7200 graphics card.
