Games and videos work fine. I've fiddled with display settings but cant find the right one to fix it. I am connecting to the tv through its monitor connection (not s-vid). Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a nvidia 7200 graphics card.

Make sure you are running the screen resolution at the native setting of the panel - 800 by 600, 60 Hz is best for LCDs.

If you have an long video cable, or an extension, try it without as a long cable may cause reflections and ringing that might make the text look blurry.

Turn off font smoothing or ClearType fonts. These both blur the text so that letters with curves and diagonals on them - Os Bs Ns etc. - do not have jagged edges. However, at 800 by 600 doing this text is going to look pixelated and jagged, you may decide to turn it back on. XP has a couple of levels of font smoothing, so you may find a different level works for you.

Under XP font smoothing is found in Display Properties - Appearence - Effects.

The resolution of the screen is only 800 X 600 so text will never be really crisp as this is the best resolution and is not good for a 20" screen
