the first one is sold at 130, the second one is sold at 90 dollars.

i just want to build a computer that i can use to browse the internet, a little photo editing, watch some dvd.

i was thinking about the 130 package, but now this 90 dollars seems even better. are they any different since the chip is the same amd chip?

Like one guy pointed out, originally they are the same price, its just one place is having a better sale. The motherboards are both of about equal quality. That quality happens to be fairly low, but if you don't have a problem with that, then go with the cheaper one.

Definitely go with the $90 one as long as the "savings" aren't mail in rebates. Never base the price off rebates, since they are never guaranteed to get paid, its just a bonus if they do.

the difference is most likely the manufacturer. In case of the motherboards they can be created with anybody with different advantages and disadvantages. Just to be on the safe side I always went for asus motherboards as they tend to have a very good supports and endurance.
