How many times can we read/write from Pen drives?

I have been using my pen drive for years, reading/writing over and over without losing any data. At far as I can tell, there is no limit.

Most manufacturers claim 10,000 Read/Writes.

I have many of these devices and they still work perfectly after years of use. But, I've also seen them die with less than 100 uses.
