I am assuming you are saying 4 inch by 6 inch prints.
Normaly we print in 600 DPI resolution.
So the pecture contains 86400000 dots.

1 GB = 1073741824 bits

Now calculate.

To print a decent looking photo, the minimum Dots Per Inch should be set to 300 DPI on your printer.

So, to print a file at 6" X 4", multiply both by 300 which equals a minimum size of 1800 X 1200 pixels.
