I was wondering if there is a setting that can be done on the computer that can make the copier pick up everything. Or do I have to take the copier (Hewlett Packard Deskjet 610CL) in for repair. I'm hoping that it is an adjustment that can be made to allow the copier to pick up (all) of what I am printing.

I'd like to get rid of my gigantic TV, but doing so would mean giving up my games console too. Any ideas about how I could play the console using my laptop's screen (perhaps bearing in mind that I have a digital DVB-T tv reciever...)?

i have a dell inspiron 6000 with two slot, it came with a 256mb pc2 3200 ddr2 sdram and i just bought a upgraded memory ram 1gb pc2 4200 ddr2 sdram. Before I installed the upgraded ram. Does it work if i were to install my new 1gb pc2 4200 ram in the 1st slot and the old 256mg pc2 3200 in the second slot?

Hi, I just bought an Advent 7113 laptop with 1024MB DDRII RAM, and would like to upgrade to 2Gig. I was informed that there were two RAM slots, but upon removing the back cover there only appears to be one. Does this mean I have to shell out for a 2gig RAM card or am i missing something?

I am trying to print to the bottom of my paper (A4). I know that my printer can do this but it has defaulted back to normal settings. I have changed the paper size in Printer settings to A4 paper instead of Letter but there is somewhere else I need to go into where it asks me if I want to Maximise the print area on my paper. This will do the trick but I can't remember how to find the option. Can anyone help.

Is there any way of making an exact copy of a computer so that if it becomes inoperable, you can simply load your "clone" from an external hard drive into another pc and have it up and running, WITHOUT having to re-install separate software programs?

I'm trying to install my Apollo P-2100U printer onto my new PC. However the software on the installation disk only works with Windows 98, not XP. Where can I obtain the software for XP? Neither the Apollo nor Hewlett Packard websites seem to be any help.

I had to reformat window and now when I restart the computer the monitor won't restart with it. The screen goes black and the power indicater light blinks and if I turn the monitor on myself it just does the monitor check thing. So I'm forced to turn off the computer manualy. Can someone help fix this so the computer and monitor restart correctly together?

The laptop will primarily used for internet, although it might be used for photo storage etc as well. It won't have Word or Excel or anything like that. Probably no games either.

My computer is not starting normally. To start my computer I have to remove all cables and remove and clean the RAM and remove SMPS and all power cables and reconnect it. I am unable to understand where is the problem in my pc. why my pc is not starting or booting. Can anybody suggest me what is the solution for my pc's starting problem is it in RAM, Motherboard, SMPS or any other device or cable?

My Acer laptop has a screen so dim you can barely see the desktop. Could it be the LCD Inverter? It is not the function key dimm switch. what does the LCD inverter do? Could it be something other than that?

have have recently got vista home premium edition and a week later put in a new dual core motherboard it loaded up fine but when i put the drivers from the disc on there it sayed restart computer so i did and now it wont load anything and brings up a screen saying i have a file corrupted and ive tired reputting in my vista disk and it still doesnt work i need some help so someone please help me

I have an Evo N800C laptop. A few days ago i noticed a slight red shade in the bottom left hand of the screen, which doesn't go away. when i don't use my laptop for a few mins the screen goes red. When i move the move to wake my laptop up the screen goes normal, apart form the red shade in the corner.
Why is this happening?. What could cause it? is there anything i can do to get rid of the red shade and stop my screen from going red? Thanks in advance
