Ok, so it's not $150, but it's close. I bought the HP Photosmart C5180 (costs $170, unless you find it on sale). This printer is an all-in-one and does a great job on everything. Ink is cheap, and will last a long time. Photo quality is great. It uses individual ink cartridges so that you only replace the color that runs out. A set of ink costs $36 (for all 6 cartridges).
If you look hard enough, you may be able to find this printer on sale for around $159. But even if you pay full price for it, you will save a lot of money in the future because of the low ink costs.

If you want the BEST, you must be willing spend more $$$.
There is no such thing as ink last forever....The more you use, the quicker the ink being used up.

the best hps out there right now are the ones that take 6 separate carts. whether you can get an all-in-one with this option, i'm not sure. the best thing to do is head to hp.com and check out every model that fits your specifications.
