I have a brand new Laptop computer with Windows Vista and I can't understand why I can't download Itunes. It keeps telling me that I either need to have VB script or I need to enable it. How do I do that?

i have a crappy dell with 512mb ddr ram in a single slot. can i put 2 x 128mb ddr ram in the other two slots or do i have to use a 512. it's just for economic reasons as 2 x 128 is cheaper than 1 x 512 and will there be any performance difference between the two set-ups?

to get it anywhere. I tried to copy it to notepad and then go to the forum but it wont copy (just the title copies).

I am very anxious to get this on the forum as I am suffering from a sleep disorder wrecking my health and when I try to explain results, noone understand it and they request the actual graph be scanned and posted for intretation of results.

I can't seem to get the help I need from doctor as he is too busy to explain things and I learned more in 2 weeks from this board han in 15 years of treatment and have gottne more direction and help.

But the people on the board don't understand me when I tried to do a mock graph. or verbal description of layout

Please help as I have suffered greatly over 25 years and from many associated disorders and this is the first time I am getting help and hope from this knowledgeable board.

Please explain how in VERY easy to understand terms as I have little computer knowledge. Thanks so much. How do I get the picture from

Ok. So I was playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion today and I run quite a few mods so it freezes up from time to time and it froze like which the solution is to just restart my computer. Well I just killed the power and went to eat dinner. When I got back I turned on the computer and it went through all the normal booting procedures but just when it should show the normal desktop it shows a totally black screen with no mouse yet I can boot into safe mode with no problem. No idea what's wrong. I do not think that it is a display setting problem. I've been using this monitor and graphics card for months at the settings with no problems.

I want to create a dual boot OS on my computer. I'm somewhat familiar with how RAID works but I'm wondering what I need to know to partition a RAID drive? Or can you partition these the same as any other drive? This is working with a RAID 0 drive by the way.

Ive noticed that after i leave my PC idle for a while, the cpu begins to become busy for no reason. This slows down the computer, and it becomes less responsive for a while. I also noticed that refreshing the desktop sometimes helps this. I am fairly experienced with computers, and i could not find out why this happens. I checked all my running processes, and googled them, and couldnt find anything out of the ordinary. BTW...i dont use hibernate or standby mode, so im sure that thats not the problem.
Any explanation or possible solution would be greatly appreciated. =]

Any tips you could give would be greatly appreciated. We do not have the startup disk and that is the only suggestion given by the Apple website.

We have a Mac G5 computer and it was just working fine. Now, it was restarted and when you turn it back on, the blue screen with the little apple in the center comes up. Then, the next screen comes up with the gray box in the middle that says Mac O S startup. Usually the little bar fills up in the bottom but it just freezes this way and never begins. It also makes a noise like fans are running in it. Any way to fix this problem? THANK YOU!

I just reinstalled windows xp on a different computer, and it doesnt seem to be detecting any internet settings. In network connections there doesn't seem to be an icon either, so im guessing that the network driver didn't install..

anyone can help me with this? every network driver i find is above 3-4mb in size and i cant find the exact model to download. im trying to find one that can fit on a 1.4mb floppy.. seeing as how i dont have any other size flash device. if it helps, the computer im on is the same model/brand as the one im trying to setup.

I have a Compaq Presario 1245 laptop that I have been working on to make better, by adding parts from a Gateway Solo 1450. I replaced the 1.5 Gb HD with a 30 Gb HD, and I added a 256 Mb RAM module. The max memory is 160, so it is sitting right at that amount. I dont know if the Gateway processor is compatible with the Compaq, but its better and faster and i would like to add it if possible. My question is, since the memory is allready maxed out, will adding a faster processor even help, or is it a waste of time?? And please dont say "buy a new laptop", cause thats not an option right now.

this morning my dad was cleaning out my computer, using disk cleanup or something like that, and now when i try access my back up harddrive it won't work, i just keeps asking me if i want to reformat it. my hardrive is connected by usb. the computer knows its there but i can't seem to access it anymore. any ideas how i can fix this?
