just got dsl, downloaded music and now i can't hear it. heard it earlier, now no sound at all

check your speaker connections and the volume level

Make sure your speakers are connected correctly. Try reinstalling the sound card drivers from your computer and restarting the computer. Also check if you don't have your speakers on mute. Go to your Volume Control in your computer and put full volume. Go to Control Panel / Sound speech and audio devices and add full volume there.
