i copied data from another machine into my hard disk, after copying now i cannot access my patitions, it displays the message do u want to format the partition? when i tried to convert it it displays the message conversion is not available for RAW Drives. One of my partition which is NTFS is not affected.

I can't use any other wallpaper on my computer except webshot, I don't know why. Even though I've downloaded some others and they appear a few minutes but then turning to webshots photos again. Plz help!!

the config would be a Core 2 duo processor (1.66GHz), 2GB RAM, 256MB ATi mobility radeon X1400 with hypermemory, and a 80GB hard disk... would a 6 cell 53Whr Li ion battery suffice???

i'm using a G4 powerbook and a lacie porsche self powered firewire400 80gb drive... i've been using the external drive to store all of my music on, and its been fine for ages.. not long ago, it started to make a funny noise and since then its been inaccessible although the noise has completely gone...

it won't show up in finder... it will show up in disk utility although it won't mount or unmount... when it does show up in disk utility, the majority of times it refuses to allow me the options of verify or repair... when i can repair.. it fails on exit due to the directory structure.

i've tested the firewire ports, tried diskdoctor (which won't even recognise the drive) and done everything else I can think of?

I'm hesitant to try a reformat yet, as i'd like to keep as much of the music as possible...

any ideas anybody?

i had no sound on one of my pc,s and thought it was the sound card,however on trying a different hard drive in this pc, which i knew had sound from another pc,i still had no sound.so am i right in thinking that the problem is something to do with the sound chip on the hard drive?

when using nero, or my cd drive. i put in a cd/rw and it tells me not enough disc space. im using 700 mb- 8o minuetes. is there a way to burn movies using this disk. i hope im asking this right. please help.

If u don;t have mame32 u prob wont understand....
I have mam32. I have went under the interface tab and selected use joystick it says restart I did but mame wont pickup my logitech joystick. I laso went under the contoller tabs and the option to select joystick will not become highlighted I have tried other programs and it works and my contol panel/game controllers says my controller is working 100% Please help!

There is a problem in Win98 OS pcs. The problem is when we place the Pen Drive into the existing USBs they did not identify the Pen drive and ask for the software. What is the software needed to overcome the same?

I have alot of 3"x5" and 4"x6" photos I want to scan to an external hard drive, but I'm not sure which dpi setting to use for best resolution. Also, would using different settings do to the saved image? Would a higher resolution allow for better enlargements? I'm mostly just interested in scanning and saving them at their original size. Any help would be appreciated ~ Thanks
