i copied data from another machine into my hard disk, after copying now i cannot access my patitions, it displays the message do u want to format the partition? when i tried to convert it it displays the message conversion is not available for RAW Drives. One of my partition which is NTFS is not affected.

what i know about RAW drives or disks is that they are damaged or they cannot no be read by your computer.
I had a 4GB mp3 player and it got damaged and when ever I connect it to the computer it says the disk format is RAW and I cannot add or delete anything from the partition since its, well.... damaged.
My first P4 40GB hard drive same story. i formated the disk from a friend and then copied the files that I had backed up on his machine to the drive and when I got home I couldn't access the hard drive... It was not damaged though, I just had to format it again (I think twice or so) and I lost everything since I deleted the files I have backed up on my friend's computer....
The disk cannot be accessed end of stort... just try formating it again using advanced programs like Partition Magic or something similar....
