if u r using Windows XP users
Windows XP is designed to automatically reboot each time an error occurs. Although this may be nice for errors that do not occur often, users who have a re-occurring error may wish to identify the error to troubleshoot it. Below are the steps on how this feature can be disabled and enabled in Windows XP.
1. From the desktop right click on My Computer.
2. Click the Properties option.
3. In the System Properties window click the Advanced tab.
4. In Advanced click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery.
5. In the Startup and Recovery window uncheck the Automatically restart check box.
6. Click Ok.
Now if the computer generates and error it should not automatically restart and enable you to display any errors your computer may be experiencing.

Hmm, not much info here, buy my guess would be a problem with the fan on your processor. After about an hour with no cooling, overheating occurs, and the failsafe mechanism causes a shutdown.
I would be strongly convinced this is the problem, if the following happens: Start your system, and expect it to fail after an hour. Immediately restart it, and check how long it takes to shut down again. I would expect that it doesn't run longer that 10-15 minutes (because the processor is still hot, and quickly overheats again).
Regardless, you probably need some professional help with your machine. No offence, but if you don't have the tech savvy to diagnose this problem, you probably won't be able to fix it yourself, either.

Pls scan your PC thoroughly in safe mode .
This is definitely due to virus problem. Once you know the virus name, download the fix tool for the same on mcafee.com or symantec.com and run the fix tool to remove the virus.
Download recent "Stinger.exe" [ from mcafee.com]. This is a virus removal too which covers about 40 to 45 viruses. Is is released may be once in a month.
If OS is win xp, then under system properties, you SHOULD check the system restore so that virus do not come to the PC soon after the removal.

You mos likely have a virus or worm. It happened to me. No matter what anyone else says, downloading this and that protection software wont completely fix the problem. Take your computer to a computer store and let them fix it...when you get it back it will be like new.

Backup all of your data from the system drive. Then just format that system partition and then reinstall the operating system. It will solve your problem permanently.
