my computer dont wanna let my new speakers play any music so it says to go to add new hardware.but u need a installation cd to install the speakers from what i understan..n the speakers didnt come with no installation cd...is there a website where i can download the installation cd?????????

hi every1, im new to this, im not sure how much help i can get, but i hope i can get help from u. so um....ok im gonna start a computer store, and i found my supplier , but im not sure wut exactly i should buy? i know about computers and notebooks and stuff, but can u tell me like some small things that people would buy? like from 10 to 100 bucks? anything that u think people would buy or need is good, like i dont know um....speaker?keyboard? so yea.....im just waiting for ur answers. tanx a lot for ur help

I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows, drivers, etc.. now I only have 640x480 (16 bit) pixels. I have tried to change it, but it will not move. I went to trouble shoot to change my monitor, but the only monitor listed is the default monitor and it will not let me drop down any other choices. What else can I do to try to fix this, or how do I find out if my monitor is listed. I installed the monitor cd, but no change?

Is there a way that an external hard drive can essentially act as an internal one, holding programs and files?
I'd like my large external hard drive to hold programs like itunes for example. I'd also like my computer to be able to access them, just like the internal drive. How can this be done? I'd like to know also if it is possible to scrap the internal drive and simply use the external one in its place. Tell me all you know!

I mean is that so you can have two more ide devices on your system, or was it just for your cd-rom, and if so would you get better performance by connecting it there, or was it just a convience thing, and could you then have 4 harddrives, or would it create a conflict? ... just curious...

I got my laptop not even one year ago. It was top of the line Toshiba, with a dual processer, and all that jazz... How long would you wait before purchasing Windows Vista? Will they put the system in stores, and then still try to work out the bugs? I like the idea of updating from XP to Vista, but I dont want to pay for something thats just going to jack up my computer. I ran the Vista upgrade manager and it came back with a lot of different things that might have problems, such as my HD Sound, and other fancy things... What would you do? I am almost to the point where I dont want to spend the cash, just to jack up my system...

I have also heard its going to use up more laptop battery... someone please tell me why I should buy Vista...

its my first time building a pc, and i know i can assemble most of it without problems - however recently, i heard about ESD - is it a real problem, cause i dont wanna destroy my Bad Axe 2 or my E6600 - will an anti-static wriststrap help, and if i were to get one, what do they really mean by a grounded piece of metal - would that be attaching it the the case?

I need help figuring out what graphics chip is on my laptop. Most cartridges have a chip on them and the driver software complains if your using a non-oem cartridge. Or it's hard to find a aftermarket cartridge that fits correctly or works reliably due to Canon or Epson's design. If Epson/Canon sold more afordable cartridges, I'd buy them but replacing ink these days is almost as expensive as the printer itself!

I use bluetooth for my logitech mouse and keyboard. The static is heard through the speakers. when I hear it, I lose my mouse first and sometimes have to reconnect my keyboard as well! I'm looking for a way to stop the static from coming into my pc all in all! Any way I can stop this? It's driving me nuts!!!!
