Generally the market lies for stuff like PC Cards, Bluetooth stuff, USB Stuff in general i.e. Keyboards, Mice and You know small addon stuff. Its a good thing you posted because this is one way of market research and the other way is to visit another PC store and find out whats selling fast. Those little addons for iPods and iPods in general sell very fast, i know a place where they Hung out a board saying "iPods Available" then the next moment it changed to "iPods Not Available". Speakers that are affordable and good quality are very good. What brands of Laptops do you plan to sell? Y dont you give apple computers a shot because they are selling like crazy because now they can run windows and the various addons that are coming very soon will allow all games and software to Run in Apple OSX itself without windows.

You know 10% of businesses fail for being ill-prepared. You have no business plan, and very little knowledge of the computer industry. Really this question should be posted in the Business and Finance section.
It's not what you sell but how you sell it. You can not only think about the products. You must also think about product support. If you sell someone a computer and it breaks or they are unhappy, how are you going to make ammends.
You should really take some business classes and business writing.
If you do not have a written business plan, there's no point in trying to decide what to sell.

If your just starting out get a 80gig drive to have on hand. Power Supply. 60 gig laptop drive. Most of your customer will be adverage Joes I'm assuming so don't buy expensive parts. Buy most everything after customers computer is in store. I know you said you have a supplier but find the nearest supplier.
Our store is located in Michigan and are supplier is in Chicago and we recieve our orders most time next day Fed Ex gound.

Take a walk through Best Buy and Circuit City. Look at their stock. If they have a lot of a given item you can be sure it is a big seller.

Depends on your area. Alot of places don't sell PSU, memory, you could trade out working parts too . Give people a little off a purchase if they have something to give. Say if the are buying a 512mb PC3200 stick from you you could give them a few $ off for their 128mb or 256mb stick if they did not need it anymore. Thanks

stock it with rare printer carts, so people will come to you instead of ordering it online. stock stuff thats neat that nobody else has. like that rubber keyboard that you can rinse under the sink. USB drive always sell, memory cards too. if you can, archos units, cuz i know its almost impossible for me to find anyone with anything like that in stock
