I have a laptop wirelessly connected which disconnects when I pull out the mains cable?

I have an Acer Aspire WXMI using BT Homehub Broadband The connection can be regained manually after the power is plugged in again. Help Please!

Check the software that controls the wireless adapter in the computer. It is possible that there may be a power saving setting that turns off the wireless adapter when the computer is running on battery. If so, you should be able to turn that off.

turn your hub off then on and tune in again mate.
